Acupuncture can help stress

Stress. The root of a thousand illnesses. An article proving that acupuncture increases release of a Neuropeptide Y(NPY), a peptide that is secreted by the sympathetic nervous system in humans. This is the system that is involved in the ‘Fight or Flight” mode. If you are around in Cork on the 29th March the Acupuncture Council of Ireland will be launching their acupuncture awareness campaign in UCC at 7.30 on the subject of stress.
